The Irish: South & West accent materials include recordings of AccentHelp coach Jim Johnson guiding you through learning the accent, along with two native speakers from Limerick and Killarney. Jim also leads you through applying the accent to a practice monologue.
Jim gathered most of the native speaker recordings during an extended trip to Ireland - bringing the experience back to you in this download. You'll be able to follow along with their conversations with the PDF transcript.
You'll get a PDF of the teaching materials, plus three more formats of the book: a PDF file to print and an EPUB for portable readers.
This accent is appropriate for productions of By the Bog of Cats, Playboy of the Western World, Outside Mullingar and other plays. You also hear it in films like Angela's Ashes, Circle of Friends and Waking Ned Devine.
