Mexican Accent Learning Materials
- The Mexican accent materials include recordings of AccentHelp coach Michelle Lopez-Rios guiding you through learning the accent, using the text, as well as a number of recordings of native speakers. Along with coach Jim Johnson, Michelle gathered these recordings over the course of many years - bringing their experience to you in this download.
- This download comes in a PDF edition. It's currently being updated and expanded to be offered in four versions of the written materials: a PDF file to print or read on a standard computer, a large-format PDF for portable reading devices, and MOBI for Kindle and EPUB for other portable readers. But you'll get the update as soon as it's available - FREE!
- This accent is appropriate for productions of Zoot Suit and other plays. You also hear it in films like Selena and on The George Lopez Show.
- Mexican and Mexican-American accents have a lot in common with other Spanish-language accents, such as New York Latino/Nuyorican and Castilian Spain, but there are very distinct intonation elements, as well as sound changes that are unique to a Mexican accent, that Michelle will guide you through.
